Until February 2021 Paul was Treasurer of ANZ New Zealand, responsible for the bank’s funding, liquidity and capital management and non-traded interest rate risk management. Prior to this he was Head of ANZ New Zealand’s debt capital markets business.

Before his time at ANZ, Paul was a fixed income portfolio manager at the Bank of England, Head of Research at New Zealand Debt Management, and an economist at the UK House of Commons and the New Zealand Treasury. Paul holds a MCom in Economics from the University of Auckland.
